ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS
Complete electrical repairs and troubleshooting available. Electrical problems are often the most stressful for customers due to the complexity of today's modern vehicles equipped with CAN or LIN BUS circuitry between the various modules. It often requires a computer interface with system function tests far beyond the capability of a typical OBD 2 scanner. Mr. FixIt offers full electrical troubleshooting and repair with full function capabilities to test and repair the system. Customers are often delighted to learn the problem isn't as big as though and the repair was efficiently made.

ENGINE REPAIRS
Vast amount of engine experience in both gasoline and diesel. The founder spent 6 years working in a Caterpillar engine rebuild facility. Gasoline uses spark ignition and diesel uses compression to ignite the fuel. Both systems must run well to get good fuel mileage and provide trouble free operation. Whether it's a timing chain/belt, tune up, or full rebuild they are all vital preventative measures to ensure reliability. Engine repairs can be stressful to customers as they envision high costs but sometimes engine diagnosis and repair can be done quickly, efficiently, and much more cost effective than the alternative.

CLUTCH REPAIRS
Manual transmission use clutch disc friction material to transmit the rotation energy of the engine to the transmission. Over time this naturally wears out. Certain good practices such as not riding or dropping the clutch can help prolong the life of the friction material but eventually adjustment or replacement maybe necessary. Proper clutch pedal free travel is critical and some system equipped with hydraulic over mechanical require maintenance to ensure master and slave cylinder work efficiently.
